Tampa Bay changes the newspaper delivery at Coronavirus times
The Tampa Bay Times has temporary suspended print publication except for Sunday and Wednesday due to pandemic-related business losses. In the last weeks of March retailers have cancelled more than $1 million in advertising they had already scheduled.
The crisis of the coronavirus is forcing many Editors to make some changes in the way they bring the news.
The Tampa Bay Times has reported a surge in traffic to its website and a growth in digital subscriptions since the last weeks of March. The company is now pointing on the electronic replica of the newspaper, powered by Tecnavia, that is published every day. Through the website, www.tampabay.com, the readers have the opportunity to access the e-newspaper without any password.
It has added new pages to the replica edition and, in addition, it is beefing up its Sunday print edition.
Tecnavia is proud to help Tampa Bay Times in its goal to keep its journalism strong.
